Private Label Specialist

Our goal is to help our private label clients succeed with better products that meet or exceed consumer expectations and deliver experiences consistent with or superior to the leading brands.  


We do this by providing creative research solutions, custom or standardized, in an efficient and economical manner to ensure a good value and return on the client’s investment. 

In-home product use tests (IHUT)

We specialize in in-home product use tests (IHUTs) to learn how consumers interact with products, what they like or dislike, how the products perform, and how the products compare to competitors.

Custom IHUT Studies

  • We design the study
  • We create a consumer screening criteria and questionnaire.
  • We recruit the consumers.
  • We prepare test subject instructions, informed consent, positioning statements and other materials.
  • We assemble the placement packages for shipping or, when possible, place the products directly to consumers in person at a central location.
  • We design online diaries and questionnaire to collect experiences and perceptions.
  • We process and analyze the data, creating a straightforward report with key insights and recommendations. 

NEW! IHUT Curated Box

  • A more economical method for IHUTS. 
  • A curated box contains 5-10 products from various manufacturers targeting a particular group such as Millennial Women, Gen X Men, or Retirees. 
  • Unlike a Custom IHUT, manufacturers only pay for a portion of the recruiting, incentive, and project management. This typically saves them thousands of dollars.
  • Research format is more standardized, but manufacturers are still able to define their key information objectives.
